Deirdre Burke is a National Teacher Fellow and Senior Lecturer in the School of Law, Social Sciences and Communications, University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom. She has more than twenty years experience as a tutor in higher education, covering a range of subject disciplines including education, history, and religious studies.

Jackie Pieterick also in the School of Law, Social Sciences and Communications, is a principal lecturer in the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). She brings extensive expertise from the perspective of tutor comment, as both a teacher of students and a provider of staff development sessions.
