An excellent look at the mind games men like to play

For years I've had to listen to the men around me whine and complain about how women are always playing mind games on poor, unsuspecting men and blah blah blah. Oh please! Men play their fair share of mind games too, and this book proves it with examples of male behavior we've all experienced. Every woman should read this so the next time she is tempted to pass off her man's behavior as stupidity or cluelessness or "because he's a man", she will understand that no, he's doing that for a reason and she needs to call him out on it. The reality is that men are not stupid, lumbering oafs incapable of doing laundry like the sitcoms would have us all think, and adult males are fully capable of employing real, positive communication to get what they need out of a relationship.
From the guy who says he's interested but then finds every excuse under the sun to avoid meeting you for coffee to the guy who belittles you in front of his friends but is a saint when you're alone, Tonya Love calls the men to the table in this smart, humorous book. The numerous examples of normal, everyday interactions between couples perfectly illustrates some of the most common mind games men play on women, and how to get him to stop messing with your head and learn to simply say what it is he needs to say. It's a great read, and one I intend to pass along to some of my friends who are currently caught up in these stupid games themselves.

Ladies you need to read this

This book gave me a lot of Oh Really? moments, and now I am looking at my husband in a whole new light. As I read some of the examples of different mine games men like to play with women, I recognized some of the tricks he pulls on me from time to time and yes, I had chalked them up to just how men are. Well, now I know better. This is a wonderful and enlightening look at the way men are perfectly capable of being manipulative as women are. The overall tone is quite positive and the author never slams men for the things they do. She simply shows you what he does, what he's thinking when he does it, and how to get him to stop playing games and act like a reasonable adult. This is one book I'll be reading twice!

Very Good

This is a book that truly delves into the subject of human psychology and explains the various games we play as humans. Focusing on men, I think this one can be very useful for women to sort out whether their partner is worth keeping and in order to protect themselves. I enjoyed the well backed up researched thought that went into this, and I learned so many crucial points. Highly recommended.
